I've treated many of our patients for many years, and I enjoy sharing events and life experiences. Every individual has a different outlook on life, and I've learned so much about human nature from the many relationships. Education and Continuing Education To become a dentist, I attained my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington in 1985. Since then, I have always stayed abreast of the latest developments in dental technology. I continuously take courses and seminars that help me provide our patients with the highest quality methods and services. I pay close attention to development of materials and techniques used in restorative dentistry because I believe high quality dentistry delivered in a relaxed, comfortable setting is of high value to most patients. I have also …attended a number of classes over the years to develop communication skills with a focus on staff and office management as well as patient comfort. In the Practice I love the challenge of developing an atmosphere that leads to a positive, pleasant and enjoyable experience at each visit for every patient. I try to develop a seamless system that integrates staff, patient, and personal loyalty and commitment into a total team effort resulting in patient health, practice profitability, and personal satisfaction. I am a very honest and open person. With me, what you see is what you get. Because of that, I find many people trust me, often opening up and sharing very personal experiences and feelings. I am a very good listener and sometimes I feel like the time I spend with patients is therapeutic both for them and for me. You will hear a lot of laughter while in our office! You will notice that we really enjoy each other, and we do our best to include patients in the fun. The atmosphere is very light and friendly which seems to really help our patients relax. It is not unusual for patients to remark that their time in our office is the most relaxing part of their busy day. Our entire team has been in place for many years, and we really do enjoy each other. We are family and community oriented people with a genuine concern for goodwill and generosity toward others. Family Life I am originally from Lynden, Washington, and have lived in Arlington for the past 22 years. My wife, Cindy, is my high school sweetheart, and we have been married for 32 wonderful years. We have three children together. Eric is 23, Chelsea is 22, and Daniel is 19. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, travel, snow skiing, hiking, reading, yard and home projects, and Husky football. My wife and I have a large extended family that we are quite close to and spend time with as well.
