Dr. Jeffrey R. Hunek, MD

He focused only on stopping use of prednisone resulting in intense spread of very painful fungal infection while ordering use of long term antibiotics resulting in more pain and sickness. He failed to have blood analyzed until pathologist had to tell him to send blood in addition to skin samples. Quit after months of getting sicker and misery and no benefit. Condition kept spreading and very painful.

I had recently seen Dr. Hunek in Venice, FL. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything in detail. He answered all of my questions. His nurse was also very helpful and knows a lot about dermatology. I will recommend him to all of my friends.

Often seems hurried. No explanations given as to what the condition is, no true treatment plan discussed. Left wondering if u really went to the doctor.
