Dr. Jeffrey Edward Ingeman, MD

This guy is very rude and harsh. I’ve never been treated this way by a doctor. He ordered tests that were not relevant to the problem. I will never step foot in this place again.

Went to the Boca ER center Dr. Ingeman was very thorough fast and had good bedside manners !

I have never had a doctor speak to me as rudely as this Dr did. My 86 year old mother was in the emergency room because earlier in the day she was diagnosed with pneumonia. My mother already suffers from leukemia with lymphoma. She was confused and thought she was being admitted. My 88 year old dad, who was with her, is hard of hearing, practically deaf and thought so, too. My mom had 102 fever and chills. She received intravenous antibiotics. Then was left to rot all day on a gurney. She sent my dad home because she was worried about him driving in the dark and was hopeful they'd admit her soon. No one ever told them that she was NOT going to be admitted. I called worried about her condition several times. I live in NY so this is doubly frustrating. I found out (about 11:00 at night) that there were no orders to admit her at all. The hospital (West Boca Medical Center) would call a cab to take her home since my dad went home. Then this Dr. got on the phone and instead of calming… my nerves, had the audacity to say to me, "Oh, you all claim to care about your mother when her husband leaves her here, and your sister (who lives in Florida) goes to bed!! You all just left her here!!" OMG!! I couldn't believe it. Then he tells me, "her XRays are fine!! She's a healthy woman!! Relax!!" I asked, "What about earlier? Why did her doctor say in the office that she had pneumonia?" He said, "Oh, they were wrong. They didn't read the XRay right." So why does my mother have 102 fever and chills? Why did they give her strong intravenous drugs? Why were they sending her home with oral anitbiotics? Awful, just awful!!

Despite the fact that I came in with Stomach cramps and blood in my stool...this Doctor has me have a Chest Xray (for a couple of thousand dollars). OK so i tried to call him numerous times. Left him many messages through the Hospital. He does not respond because he thinks he doesn't have to because he's in ER. Well every Doctor needs to respond to their patients regardless of where in the Hospital they work. All i was told is that i have to pay for the Chest Xray regardless. I just wanted and answer that i didn't get...he's a money machine for West Boca Medical Center...Stay away from this Doctor and the Medical Center for Emergency !

If you end up with this doctor in the ER runas fast as you can. Has a "god" like attitude. Talks donw to you and talks badly about other doctos in the ER. Works out of West Boca Medical in Boca Raton, FL if you end up in that ER you are out of luck...very dirty has HIPPA violations, and leaves vials of blood every where (biohazard issue)

This is the kind of doctor we need more of very organized and very perfessional he guided doctor through even when i was in icu .Great job doc

Excellent Doctor. Very knowledgeble, very kind and straight to the point. He is an emergency doctor but I wished he had his own office. Two thumbs up.
