Dr. Jeffrey Harris Kauffman, MD

I haven’t been to several other gastroenterologists locally and by far this is the best experience I’ve had. Dr. Kauffman was very attentive, listened to my issues and came up with a plan for treatment that others could not. I definitely would recommend Dr. Kauffman

The staff was very friendly. Dr. Kauffman was great. He listened to me carefully and explained everything so I understood it. He started me on treatment and I have been feeling better now than I have been in years. I would highly recommend Dr. Kauffman.

This doctor NOT want to hear it when I told him that a nurse detected an abnormality (over-contraction) during the manometry test, & proceeded to flat out deny it, & because he didn't see cancer or MS it must certainly be.... Wait for it: globus. Yes. NOTHING else. And is now wanting to treat it as a psychological issue- that NOTHING is wrong with me (& he did say that).. Needless to say.. I do not appreciate being made to wait literally over a month only to be fed this non-information. Also.... Who wouldn't have anxiety issues after having lived with.... Well, really any ailment (be it mental or physical)? In all actuality though I guess I shouldn't be all too surprised- as he was not the most feeling person- as a matter of fact seeming too busy priding himself on thinking it was all in my head along with repeatedly trying to talk over me. Now I could be wrong about this, but I'm thinking that most people would not want to go back to a doctor like that, but then again maybe I'm… wrong since I just very well might be.... Mental- along with anyone else who might agree with him.

Poor bedside manner no explanation for what’s going on with me it’s second opinion time!

Since he does not consider taking what I say into account.... So if you do not care to be treated in such a manner he might not be for you as well........

He listened to me and explained the plan answering all of my questions . When I followed up with him to go over my test results he explained everything thoroughly. His staff was very helpful and friendly. Great experience

Easiest procedure I've ever had--just like I'd taken a really, good nap and then woke up--all done!

Ive been having DR Kauffman for my GI for a couple years now. First he has NEVER been able to give me diagnosis. When I have been in pain and requested an appointment the appointment is ALWAYS 20 days or more of a wait, then the day before or sometimes the day after im told that my appointment has been canceled. And im told to go to the ER where everyone treats me like a drug addict! The last time I got to actually see someone at DR Kauffmans office it was with an arrogant RUDE know it all PA that also treated me like _____! The last appointments I have had with this DR. have all been canceled by HIS staff. Yesterday I get a certified letter telling me im no longer allowed to be seen by him or anyone in there network because I missed an appointment!?! ARE THESE PEOPLE SERIOUS?????!!!!! I plan on reporting this with the board of medicine.
