Dr. Jeffrey I Kessler, MD

Very hurried, dismissive and condescending. Saw my son for his cerebral palsy spasticity and had nothing to offer apart from telling me my son should wear his brace (which he already does). When I wrote a negative review he wrote me to say he didn’t want to see my son again and that I should find another doctor. Very unprofessional.

A most condescending and dismissive doctor who has poor listening skills and does not take the time to conduct a proper examination. And he kept us waiting 45 mins before ending our visit, claiming he had 8 other patients to see.

Dr Kessler saw my son for cerebral palsy caused ankle spasticity. Rather than conducting a proper exam, he was dismissive and condescending. His medical skills are lacking as he incorrectly diagnosed my son. After a few minutes he claimed he had 8 other patients to see, then abruptly left the room (though he kept us waiting 45 min in the exam room while he sat in his office across the hall). Very poor listening skills and questionable medical expertise. Not recommended

Dr Kessler is the best of the best. Great surgeon, great communicator, great listener. The best doctor my daughter could ever have.

Insanely spectacular doctor. He took better care of my daughter before, during and after surgery than I could have ever imagined. We're so grateful to have had him as our daughter's doctor.

Dr. Kessler couldn’t care less about his patients. I took my child to him for years, and I regret that decision. He offered no options, did not seem interested in discussing alternatives unless I raised them with him first and seemed wholly uninterested in my child. The last straw came when he didn’t get my kid’s gender right after being his patient for five years.

It would be a terrible decision to see Dr. Kessler. he was very dismissive during my daughters exam. She has many issues, but we were referred to him for her hip, webbed knee, and cleft foot. After a quick review he wasn't concerned with her foot, and said he would refer us to Plastic Surgery, and Podiatry - both of which said they could not help us. He was not concerned with her knee and said physical therapy can help. He did a quick exam of her hip and said he was 99 percent sure it was not dislocated and would order and ultra sound to confirm. He made a comment about us being late, which made me feel like we were screwed from the beginning. Ultra sound showed her hip was in fact dislocated and his response was we need a knew ultra sound. We have spent 2 months being flopped around by this guy and the best decision we have made so far is to never see this man again. I would advise you not to ever see him at all.

If I could give Dr. Kessler zero stars I would. We have never been treated so poorly by a doctor. He didn’t listen to our concerns and was completely dismissive and come descending. I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment with any other orthopedist in this practice so you don’t have the same experience as ours. Save yourself the copay.
