Dr. Jeffrey Howard Klopper, MD

If you are in distress and have major issues, this is not the place for you. I tried having a family member visit and it was like pulling teeth. Arlene, the office manager, probably shouldn't speak with patients. I had requested that Dr Klopper review the medical records before client came in - and I'd pay him for that time. NOPE! Client smells things that aren't there, scared of the stove, scared of driving, bounces of the walls and freaks out daily. I wanted to provide the doc with as much info as possible. After speaking with Arlene - it appears this is a cookie cutter office for 30 minutes appts only. A doctor's office doesn't have to care, however, fake it!!

Simply the Best team. Though you may wait a moment, but definitely wort every minute! Is your health not important enough to have an attentive Doctor? Worth the wait not to be rushed through your appointment?

Yesterday was my second visit & was even more impressed with this Dr. & even his office manager went out of her way to make sure I had the correct medicine which is extremely important to me. My wait time to see this Dr. was not very long & his incredibly nice Intern explained he see's me first to make sure Dr. Klopper knows every concern I have even with my medication. J.G.

I have been in a panic for a few week's as I moved home to Smyrna & needed a new Dr. I was greeted so kindly on the phone & in person by the receptionist Beth & then I met Dr. Klopper & I am not one that is impressed by anyone but this Dr. is Genuine & Bluntly Honest & he made me feel so at home and safe and understood me & I am so Grateful & Blessed to have him as my new Psychiatrist. He never returns your calls, this man does not care about the patients that are assigned to his care. Stay away from him.

The staff in Dr. Klopper's office is the worst. My husband went to see Dr. Klopper last week and his staff failed to call in his prescriptions and now he is out. When he calls them, they are rude and extremely unprofessional. They either hang up on him or tell him to quit calling. My husband even called his insurance company to get them to talk to the office, and they did not want to talk to the insurance company and just transferred them to a voicemail. This is a mental health clinic and the staff just play around with people's medications by not calling it in to the pharmacy. Do they not understand that their patients are dealing with mental health issues??? This is unacceptable and extremely negligent. If Dr. Klooper cares about his patients, he needs to hire a better staff who will do their jobs and not these unprofessional, uncaring, worthless people. Seriously, his practice needs to be reported since people with mental health issues are unstable as it is.

I have not seen this man nor his facility in my life but just got a bill saying I owe them 105$. Try again a**holes.

Unfortunately, I will never know if Dr. Klopper is a great physician or not, as when I had a scheduling concern, his Reception staff was terribly disgusting to me, even slamming the phone down on me, without me being able to ever fully express my scheduling issue. I had spent half of one afternoon, and another half of a morning (now the morning of my actual scheduled appt), trying to get someone, ANYONE, on the line to adjust. When I finally did get someone on the phone, I was told to "Hold one minute," which ultimately turned into several minutes; when the Receptionist did come back on the line, 12 minutes later, sounding completely frustrated before I ever got to say a word, requested I hold longer, I had to insert myself to say, I was unable to hold longer and if it were possible to just cancel my scheduled appointment for that day, in which she proceeded to tell me how the person standing in front of her was more important than me, and that i needed to wait more, and I would incur… a $50 cancellation fee (Please keep in mind my reason for Cancellation is directly health related, but never got the opportunity to express that in full because the Receptionist became further confrontational with me.) I attempted to say that I didn't want to engage in a back and forth conversation with her, and that I just wanted to simply cancel the appointment for today, and provide her my health reason why, she slammed the phone in my ear. This was my second interaction with the office. My first went seamless, and I could tell that she was not who I had spoken with the first time, by her voice. For this level of lack of patient service, I will NEVER grace Dr. Klopper's office. The receptionist was disgusting. I have never been hung up on by a health care service provider in my entire life. Disgrace to health care service.

My daughter-in-law had one appointment. She gave his staff her list of meds TWICE! One even took the list directly from her phone. The list included an anti-nausea dream g she needs to take with one if her other drugs in irder to avoid becoming violently ill! Dr. Klopper wrote scripts for all her meds, EXCEPT the anti-nausea drug. She called his office four times over a three week period, leaving messages requesting the script. NOTHING! No script wrotten and no return phone call!!! Finally, my son talked with someone in the office who LIEd, saying they were not aware of her need, or prior use, of the anti-nausea drug. When told of repeated messages, she promised to call nack the same day! NO CALL BACK and NO SCRIPT!! My daughter-in-law desperately needs the osych drug, but cannot take it without the anti-nausea drug! She has tried, and is very ill NOW! Today, they only promise AGAIN to “tell the nurse”! This guy is either a totally incompetent uncaring jerk, or he is… incompetent in being able to hire staff who will do their jobs!
