Dr. Jeffrey Andrew Knapp, MD

I blew out my disc at L5 S1. It took Dr. Knapp 3 weeks to address the problem. In the meantime I was in agony from a crushed nerve that whole time. When he did get around to addressing the problem surgically he injured my nerve while he was in there. I have chronic pain in my right foot that I have to take medication daily to be able to function. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I don't know how he actually feels inside, but he did Not seem to be compassionate at all. It appeared that once he decided he did Not want to take care of my problem, he didn't want to talk with me any longer. I realize that doctors are just human, but maybe he's feeling bad or unhappy with his job. I wish the best for him.

Telling a patient to just deal with it and itll go away is not a helpful solution. I would not recommend him to anyone. Total waste of time and money.

In 2005 I had to have neck surgery. I had been in great pain for months with no help for anyone. He took an MRI and did the surgery the next week. I came out of that surgery without pain and never had to take a pain pill. I now live out of the state and am having a disk problem again in my lower back. I wish I was able to have him take care of it for me. I think he is wonderful

Dr Knapp explained what needed to be done, how long surgery would take, the exact procedure and how long recovery would be and what to expect. Six months after my surgery for spinal stenosis and fused vertebrae, I am walking without pain and am grateful to this wonderful doctor.

Dr. Knapp was up front about my problem. He discussed the whole thing and what was required of insurance. The first things that had to be done and the best they could in a timely manner. I was taken care of the best ever. I had my after surgery visits and was released. Dr. Knapp told me if it hurt don't do it. I have not had to go back since my release. I could not have had a better doctor. He is the best in my book and would highly recommend him and have to anyone with this problem.

Poor excuse for a Dr. He took xrays of my back and there was nothing wrong with it, He was so wrong..then he said it was a muscle and wanted me to do theropy and that he was going to give me script for muscle relaxers so I checked out & waited for him to finally come back. When he did he didn't even write it for what he said it was pain meds. Apparently he doesn't know how to read xrays or write perscriptions.. Hope he enjoyed my money!!

Poor excuse for a doctor, Did not even do a physical exam on me. Did not acknowledge my complaints at all. Doctor/Patient relationship is terrible. He basically tries to belittle you and even actually argued with me over some of my reasons for visit. Basically do not see this doctor if you want to improve your situation.

He caused my mother to die. I was forced to check on one star, but if I could I would not give him any stars.
