Dr. Jeffrey M Kocher, MD

Dr. Kocher is an exceptionally bright and caring individual. I feel lucky to have him as my internist.

dr. kocher saved my life as a hospital patient....twice....!...believe me, his scope has wide range...i am grateful he is practicing and is a source of brilliance that is rare among the doctors (many) i've seen.

In 1995 he was recommended to me with: "...he's the 2nd best ID doctor on the east coast". (Unfortunately, the other doctor has since passed.) Now he's the best.He is completely thourough and listens to all concerns ruling nothing out until he is sure of something. There is never a visit where I feel rushed or unsure of his diagnosis and treatment plan.There have been time when I used other Dr.'s at Leonia Med. Assoc. I feel confident with each one as they are all professional.The only thing I don't like is the phone system... It really sucks getting through to anyone... On the good side... whoever answers the phone is usually pretty nice and almost always competent to carry out the needed task.I pass 5 other doctors that friends of mine go to and travel 35 minutes to get there. There is one great doctor 5 minutes away... another 15 away and they are both working out of hospitals closer to my family. It's worth keeping Dr. Kocher.
