Dr. Jeffrey P Kyrouac, MD

Dr. Kyrouac is a great doctor. I love how he answered all of my question. I would highly recommend him.

I had him for twenty years here at Carle Clinic in Champaign, IL and I miss him terribly. I have actually thought about driving over just to see him, but its a 130 miles.

Prior to becoming one of Dr. Kyrouac's dedicated patients, I had lost complete hope in the health care system. It was incredibly refreshing to find a Dr. who shows a genuine passion for finding the root of even the smallest ailment, without the judgement and degradation I have experienced in the past. Unlike many narrow minded Dr's, Dr. K sure knows his facts on a very broad spectrum of conditions. I love that he runs tests frequently and isn't afraid to refer patients to a specialist when needed. Have recommended friends and family & will continue to do so!!!

Nice to have a primary physician that is prompt, caring, informative, thorough, and no nonsense. I had begun to think it was something of the past.

I also am surprised at the favorable responses this Dr. recieved. As a woman, he was extremely rude and crass. Said all my problems were due to "stress." I believed him. Until I got a new doctor that diagnosed me with adrenal insufficiency. He was so quick to put things off on stress, he never ran an adrenal workup!

Dr. K knows what is needed to keep me healthy and I appreciate it.

Dr. K is simply awesome!!! I've had doctors jerk me around and tell me what they think I want to hear for years! However, Dr. K was definitely no nonsense and told me point blank my issues, how to fix them and stick to it... Although he comes off a bit rough, I'm beyond ecstatic that he has taken me as a patient!!!

Dr. K. is very blunt. If you want a doctor that is going to sugar coat everything and tell you what you want to hear, he is not the one. But if you want someone who is no nonsense, very accurate in his diagnosis, will tell you like it is Dr. K is the best choice.

I'm surprised by the numerous favorable reviews posted about Dr. Kyrouac. Personally, I found him to be very impatient, crass, arrogant, and pompous, to the point of being rude. He barely makes eye contact with the patient, cuts off the patient when they are trying to explain issues or answer his questions, and provides very little explanation of diagnoses. His replies to questions are very short and condescending. His demeanor toward his staff appeared no better than that toward his patients. I frequently left the office wondering why he is in his line of work, because he left me with the impression he has no concern or care for his patients. I stayed with him longer than I probably should have, so I know that I didn't just catch him on a single bad day. I'm glad to be with another doctor now.

I am glad that I changed from my old PCP to Dr. Kyrouac. He is very thorough and accurate with his diagnosis and treatments.
