Dr. Jeffrey Marc Lafond, MD

Had robotic surgery — removing my gall bladder and dissection of my small intestine. Although I was concerned (and scared) Dr. LaFond was upbeat and confident which soothed all my worries. For the first time in all my years, at 9:00 pm he called to check on me. Wow — just wow. A doctor that actually cared!! Office staff, especially Monique, has been compassionate and indeed responsive. Love them!

I recently had surgery at Trident medical center. Dr. Lafond preformed the surgery with a vascular surgeon. I was d/c after the surgery, I thought I should have stayed. I was given a script for 5mg of Percocet. My surgery was pretty invasive, so 5mg did nothing for me. I went home and took the meds as he prescribed. My pain only got worse. He was on call so I had him paged and he told me he could write a script the next day and if I needed I could go to the ER. Well I needed relief then not the next day. Once I got to the ER and the doctor in the ER tried to page dr. Lafond He would not call back. They paged him three times from the ER with no call back. I was finally admitted for pain management and sent to the third floor. Once they're the nurse on the floor paged him another 4 times and he never called back. I finally had to call the house supervisor in order to get anything done. It's 3 a.m. and I'm laying in a bed in the hospital and I have to call the house supervisor in order to… get the doctor to write me pain medication. I was finally given something for pain at 6am. So from 4:30pm until 6am the next morning I was in excruciating pain. NEVER again.

very good doctor. I really enjoyed my experience with him for a doctor to recommend to hold off on surgery until it is necessary. instead of trying to make a quick dollar really means a lot to me.

I worked for a Home Health agency when I first needed surgery. I called one of the nurses at Trident Hospital and asked her to recommend someone. She didn't hesitate. She told me the OR staff always chose Dr. Lafond. That was good enough for me and I have recommended him to others. Diana was his nurse and was wonderful. I haven't really learned the rest of the staff but all seem very nice.

Dr Lafond is very personable and very though. He has a great bedside manner and is very straightforward. And he has a good sense of humor. He is a wonderful doctor and I highly recommend him.

Always up beat. Takes time to answer questions. Need an appointment, they will work you in.

Dr. Lafond is an amazing physician and surgeon; on top of that, he is a very good man who takes the time to talk with and listen to his patients. I always have and always will recommend him to family and friends in need.
