Dr. Jeffrey Alan Lederman, MD

This rating is based upon on a single visit and reflects mainly his attitude during the visit. My doctor insisted that I see Dr Lederman. The doctor apparently considers his time too valuable to dwell on a complex case in which his expertise may/may not be useful. When I bring my car to a mechanic with something broken I don't have to pay if he doesn't want to fix the car, but unfortunately doctors are paid regardless of their willingness to do anything. In this case the Doctor did not come to clearly understand the my problem due his quickly jumping to incorrect conclusions. There was no honest effort put forth by this doctor.

he is snobby and he was very rude with my husband when he tried to ask him a question. he only wants to collect information that supports paying him more for the visit, doesn't care about the patient's opinion or feelings. Very disappointed that he is the head of the infectious diseases department in Montefiore!!! Knowledge is not everything you have to be caring, nice and down to earth for the patient to trust you with their health.
