Dr. Jeffrey A Levison, MD

Having read some of the older reviews, it's like we're talking about two different people! My husband and I both became his patients last year and we couldn't be happier. He is knowledgeable, personable, converses with us and listens well, takes his time, humorous, and not the least bit stuffy. We both feel extremely lucky that he was taking new patients!

Dr. Jeffery Levison is now working as a provider at North County Health care in ShowLow, Az. My husband who has several concerning health issues has seen him twice after being referred. We have been going to North County Health care for over 5 years and have never had a bad experience with any staff member except Dr. Levison. My husband was having several symptoms over the last week that were concerning to us. After explaining what was going on to the receptionist at the office he reluctantly let her schedule an in person appointment. I was absolutely shocked at the way this doctor treated him in front of me and in front of an intern who he was supposedly training. He was one of the rudest, smuggest ldoctors I have ever seen (which has been a lot of doctors). He Totally discounted everything we told him and stated his data (some of it from two years previous) says he looks fine. Told us his oxygen levels which had been dropping were not concerning even though my husband was having… dizzy spells for three days straight. Then when we had questions he abruptly told us we were wasting his time and he had other patients to see. When my husband asked him what he would do if his oxygen levels were dropping to 86 he looked at him and told him to lose weight. Then said we were not a good fit for him and took his intern and walked out. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Ever. Total narcissist. Looks like I have to give a star but I would give none if I could.

A doctor of integrity, he has great knowledge and insight; he shows he does exhibit caring for his patients so if he is sometimes more direct with them, is misunderstood as not being; I have seen that spends as much time with them as he can. however he has to measure how much time he can spend with each to keep up his excellent work standard one can see he has set for himself.

Dr. Levison reviewed my prescriptions prescribed by my Doctor practicing in the DFW area and immediately became indignant questioning my prescriptions. Accusing me of Opiod Addiction, grilling me on the term Dual Diagnosis. He was confrontational, self righteous and indignant to my case. I was emotionaly distraught, confused and humiliated by his demeanor to a point that I was disorganized as left the facility. He was unprofessional and leaves me to infer he has no familiarity with a Doctors Code of Ethics.

Does not spend time getting to know his patients. Very superior attitude.

Both my wife and I go to Dr. Levison and find him to be a caring and knowledgeable doctor.

In a hurry. Does not spend time getting to know his patients.

Always in a hurry and doesn't listen. He misdiagnosed me. Thankfully I found another Dr.

Condescending and uncaring.

Dr. Levison is the most fabulous Dr. I have been to. He is very bright, very personable and listens to every word!. He gets my test results to me on the same day. What a truly caring Doctor. We are lucky and blessed to have him in Pagosa Springs.
