Dr. Jeffrey Leonard Lovallo, MD

Thank you to Dr. Jeffrey Lovallo for treatment for a shoulder injury. After a year of excruciating pain, I saw Dr. Lovallo last month and he immediately came up with a treatment plan to help my shoulder feel better. I was very pleased with not only his extensive knowledge, training, but also his bedside manner was excellent. This is something lacking these days in many medical practices. I was also impressed with the Anderson Clinic and all of the Coved restrictions and safeguards they had implemented during this pandemic.

I lived with extreme pain from a fully torn rotator cuff that wasn't caught by any of my doctor's or the urgent care. Dr. Lovallo and his team IMMEDIATELY pinpointed my issues and he repaired my shoulder. Dr. Lovallo also replaced my dad's shoulder and he is an AMAZING surgeon, as well as, a personable and caring physician.

Very well educated an knowledgeable. Had a troublesome shoulder surgery with an unpredictable outcome. Dr Lovallo was able to do the surgery successfully and it is better. The other shoulder (torn rotator cuff) is inoperable. It's hard for me to understand how there can be no option other than a complete replacement.

I tore my labrum 7 years ago and after being conservative in the treatment (per my request), I finally had him do surgery to repair it. It was the best decision I made regarding that injury. Quick recovery time, etc.. At the time, not a lot of orthopedic surgeons would do a labrum repair, but he did it fabulously. So 7 years later I have more shoulder pain and wanted to see him again. After a 6 week wait to see him, he thinks I have a different tear. His PA told me that after I got my MRI scheduled, to call immediately and they'd get me in within a week for him to read the MRI and discuss next options. I did that and they gave me the line that his next appointment was in 5 weeks! After saying, "That isn't what I was told yesterday" I was finally able to get bumped up and get in to see him in 3 weeks. He does fantastic work (as evidenced by the difficulty in getting in to see him), but the wait times between appointments (and while you're in the office waiting to see him) are… borderline ridiculous.

I'm a 32 yr old healthy female... Had wrist pain in both of my wrists same spot. He gave me botched cortisone shots which actually increased my pain... I came back for a follow up and was told I had arthritis and the only fix would be to fuse my wrist bones together!! You can imagine my horror!! I went to commonwealth orthopedics they found the cause for my pain which were cysts in my wrist bone so I had two surgeries to remove them and couldn't be happier!! DO NOT GO TO DR LAVALLO!!!

The staff was great however Dr. Lovallo was pretty fast with his visit with me and although we did discuss my health history nothing was said about my current visit with him or what his diagnosis was. I was told by one of his assistants that he would after she performed some tests and I never saw him again afterwards nor was any information given to me.

He seemed completely preoccupied when I finally got to talk to him at my second appointment. I'm not sure why, but he definitely didn't want to be with me. I understand that he is slammed seeing patients, but I wanted to at least feel comfortable with him before scheduling surgery. I just felt he wouldn't care about me as a patient so I went to another surgeon in Arlington and had a wonderful experience.
