Friendly, caring staff and very competent dentist but be prepared to be outrageously gouged on pricing! The unannounced and not requested use of expensive equipment and upselling on expensive treatments was annoying. But the final straw was when I received an estimate that was five times what I found elsewhere for an implant! Buyer beware.

I had a friend go to see Dr. Mader and he told her she had like 10 cavities and needed $10,000 worth of work. She got a second opinion from another dentist and it turns out none of those teeth had cavities on them! It looks like he drills on teeth for no reason!

Very satisfied with procedure as well as with staff.

No one wants their credit card charged for amounts far higher than agreed. No one wants to have far less benefit dollars available to them later in the year due to their insurance company being billed for services not rendered, by a provider who takes payment for services not rendered. We can attest to that from personal experience. In fact, I just did.

I was told I had a cavity during a routine cleaning from Dr Mader after x-rays where taken. The next cleaning I had I was told that I didn't have a cavity. I'm not sure where the cavity went! On another visit, I had a crown replaced and my bite was off. I went back numerous times to get it adjusted (the crown) and was told on the last visit I had with Dr. Mader that he couldn't see a problem. When I told him that it happens when I am chewing food and my wife can hear it hit my other tooth from across the table, he just shrugged his shoulders. It still hits my other tooth to this day.

I went in for a basic checkup, was first off, was charged $180-- obscenely more than average. I then was told by Dr Mader that I had two cavities (which he did not find when using his tools, but only on x-ray) 80-100% through the enamel. The bill for a repair-- as he gave no options other than a filling, even when I asked-- was near $800. A second opinion from an experienced dentist said NO cavities on either side, and no possible way there was anything 80% decayed! Yet Dr. Mader wanted me to pay him to drill into my strong health teeth to fix a nonexistent problem!From his practice, his focus on cosmetics, and his insistence on drilling and filling strong, healthy teeth shows that Dr. Mader is more interested in making obscene amounts of money, and not at all interested in the actual well-being of his patients. He would rather push them into spending massive amounts of money to do procedures that don't need to be done at all, and is unwilling to provide alternatives that would be… appealing to the patient. I was disgusted with my experience there, and will be recommending against him to all my friends and family.
