I had a bad surgery outcome from another surgeon which affect my vision. I went to 3 other surgeons for post-op help and to find out what happened. I even saw a surgeon in Texas. None of them could help me. I thought I was going to have to live with the vision distortion forever. On my 1st visit to see him he knew exactly what the problem was. He had to do another surgery on my eye but ever since then my vision is no longer distorted and I can see! Now I send all my family and friends to him. There is no one else that I will ever trust with my vision again!

Finally got my LASIK surgery done by Dr. J Maehara after going back and forth if its worth the $$ or just wear my glasses and contact lenses. It only took him 10minutes and i now have a 20/15 vision! It was the best decision ever! Life-changing just being able to see clearly without squinting my eyes. Btw, I am an operating room nurse who specializes in eye & plastic cases. I circulate to a lot of ophthalmologist here in oahu and hands-down, Dr. J Maehara is one of the best in this field. He does his cataract cases 10-15minutes (that's how it should be done), very straightforward, his techniques are the always the latest. He's the only one I trust to touch my eyes! The staff in his Ala Moana office are all very nice. I will forever be thankful to Dr. Maehara for getting my vision back perfectly!
