Dr. Jeffrey B Magnes, MD

I had an unexpected C-Section and Was lucky enough to have Dr. Magnes assigned to my case at Valley . Being nervous and unsure of what was going on, this doctor and his team were so reassuring. He explained everything to me step by step as it was happening. After the c-section he stayed by my side to make sure I was ok and would even give me comforting shoulder rubs along with some kind words. Not to mention my anesthesia went perfectly and painless.

Dr Magnes was the anesthesiologist during my csection. He was very caring and thorough. I had a placenta previa so there was a greater risk that I could need a blood transfusion. He would not administer the spinal until he knew my blood type was immediately available. It turns out that it wasn't, so they waited until it was. He spent the entire surgery trying to distract my husband and especially me by talking to us. He was very pleasant and explained everything to us in detail. He even took the camera from my husband and took pictures for us. I think he wanted my husband to fully experience our son's birth. It was extremely thoughtful. We have pictures of every detail including birth, the clock at the time of birth, our hand holding, family photo, my husband cutting cord. He left n impression on me
