Summary
Dr Maier graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1979, after undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Central District Dental Association, and the Acadamy of General Dentistry.
Dr Maier stongly believes that learning, especially in a changing field such as dentistry, is a life-long process. In 2009 he participated in more than 130 hours of continuing education courses, far more than the average of 20 hours required to meet Michigan standards.
Dr Maier has lived in Charlotte for more than 30 years, and particpates in a variety of community organizations in a desire to help in areas other than dentistry.. He has co-chaired the annual United Way campaign, served as an officer for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, is presently on the Board of Tristees at HGB Hospital, The Board of Directors of Eaton Federal Savings Bank, and a member of the Charlotte Rotary Club
