Dr. Jeffrey Howard Margolis, MD

Dr. Margolis is very smart with great credentials. Graduated from John Hopkins and held as the best in Detroit for 11 yrs in Detroit in HOUR magazine. Yes he’s a very busy man, but saving lives! Morning appts are best being he sees an abundance of patients. He is honest, serious, warm, kind, fun, pleasant and patient with all questions. He uses every tool in his box. He’s a Dr. you want in your fox hole during battle. I watched him battle for my friends I met during my visits. He makes you feel safe, knowing your in good hands. His receptionist has ALWAYS been kind, she’s a breath fresh air before I enter. The girls taking blood are kind as well. Chelsea his PA is wonderful. The whole staff down to his script writer. It makes a scary visit actually enjoyable. The Chemo room has the best staff of nurses to keep you comfy and answer any questions you have. I interviewed facilities & doctors at 3 different hospitals & chose Beaumont Royal Oak for my breast cancer treatment. After my surgery, I was lined up with Dr. Jeff Margolis. I was terrified to see an actual oncologist for my chemo. After some discussion, I began to cry. Dr. Margolis wheeled his chair tome,, took my hand, telling me I was not going to lose my hair or die from chemo. A chemo for breast cancer & I can keep my hair? He educated me about my cancer & chemo type...a type that was not even offered at the 2 other doctors I interviewed. He was my angel. He is a generally nice guy with a loads of medical knowledge. How does one thank someone for saving the life of some you love???? My father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and Dr. Margolis said, “We are going into battle, and I will be right next to you to fight!” As a family we needed someone ready to go into battle! We love Dr. Margolis for being so aggressive and so educated in latest cancer treatment and how to save my dad! Cancer FREE! Love and grateful for Dr. Margolis!!!

Dr Jeffrey Margolis and his staff are excellent, very on top of the day to day issues with oncology patients and very caring.

I have been seeing Dr. Jeff since 2014, His professionalism & honesty when treating his patients was excellent. At times I felt as if I was the only patient he had.

I was not impressed with the receptionists and his P.A. they seem to need training in people person skills. I felt a little rushed by the doctor when he came in. I didnt feel i got all my questions answered. I want a doctor who is straightforward about my condition and will prescribe the best treatment possible. Since this was my first visit at the royal oak location then i will give it a second visit and come back to give another rating.

I trust Dr. Jeff completely. He is very thorough and kind.

Dr Margolis makes all his patients feel they they are his only patient ever. Dedication!

I loved Dr Margolis. He's gifted, he's current, he cared and he took time. If I had to wait a while to get to see him, that was fine with me. Hard to do when you're going through treatment, but so worth it. Waiting meant he was caring for someone else and would care for me with equal attention once it was my turn. He's on top of his game. His care is up to date and on the cutting edge of science as well. When he was my onc I seriously never worried about one part of that aspect of cancer life. It was nice to be in such assured hands.

Dr Jeff has been my dr for over 12 years. He is treating me for a chronic cancer condition. I recommend him with no reservations. He takes his time and answers questions. His staff is always professional, helpful and friendly. I appreciate his dedication to my health. He is very busy, so be prepared to wait. He does overbook, but no complaints from me, as he has squeezed me in several times. On several occasions Dr Jeff has called me in the evening following up with me. Who could ask for more!
