Dr. Jeffrey Martin, MD

Dr. Martin showed my wife and I the results of the MRI and explained the reason for the required surgery. We were very impressed with his delivery and understood his decision that I should proceed. It has been a month since the surgery was performed and I feel great, I can do things that I wasn't able to do before surgery. Kudo's to Dr. Martin and his crew. I was told by my Neurologist that my back problems were age related and would be corrected by physical therapy and surgery was not recommended because of my age(76). After two months, I was not experiencing any relief so I contacted Phoenix Spine and that was the best decision I have made in my life!!

Dr. Martin explains everything he proposes to do in a way you can understand. He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to which helps your trust level with him. He is thorough as my neck needed surgery before my back. I thank him for this attribute as I see it. I would highly recommend Phoenix Spine and Dr. Martin to anyone who would need these services, as I already have.

Dr. Martin did a minimally invasive neck surgery. It was done as an outpatient procedure and I was able to go home the same night! This was my 3rd surgery by Dr. Martin this year. He was correcting surgery that I had done by another surgeon that did not cure the problem. Dr. Martin is a great surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone who asks me for a spine surgeon. He explains what he is going to do and is easy to talk to.

Dr Fully explained the procedure. Pre OP care was excellent. Operating room was fully staffed as much as I could recall and I felt at ease and safe.

Dr. Is very professional, he takes time to check every thing out and visits with you before surgery, he has a nice bed side manner, letting you know each patient is special.

Dr. J. Martin preformed a Laminectomy on the 12th of Jan this year. Dr. Martin eliminated over 80 percent of my lower back pain from a scale of 7 (over last 5 years)down to a scale of 1 to 2. I never would have thought that I would be able to walk straight up again from always being bent over. Can talk longer walks and do not need assistance using cart or cane when shopping or walking. Wish I have come in contact with Dr. Martin years ago. I have been to other Dr.'s who did not offer the type of procedure I had done because I feel they either did not know of it or there wasn't enough value ($)in it.

I had a few procedures, including a lumbar back fusion. Each time we met, Dr. Martin's bedside manner was pleasant and he made me feel at ease. He seems knowledgable and experienced, and I put my complete faith in him based on these attributes. I am still in recovery mode, so the jury is still out on the success of the procedures I had done. Looking forward to being lower back pain free for the first time in a very long time.

The entire nursing staff at the hospital were very helpful to me before the actual surgery. We think that Dr. Martin was marvelous in his explanation of the procedure and put us at ease. As far as the surgery itself went it went extremely well without any pain. No drugs were needed.I would definitely recommend the doctor.

Everyone is very competent, capable, and makes you feel like you are the only patient there.

Everyone was courteous. Dr. Martin was very thorough in examining me and probably saved my life by realizing he needed an MRI and X-Rays of neck which proved I needed immediate surgery there before the back surgery I came for. Also he explained in layman's terms where we could understand everything he was talking about. I would definitely recommend all to everyone.
