Dr. Jeffrey Scott Masin, MD

I went there after visiting 3 other doctors about a chronic sinus infection. Two doctors saying i need surgery and one saying surgery will not help me. He told me surgery will not help me and I should try not eating gluten for a week. Of course it did not work. Then he prescribes an at home sleep study and diagnosis me with sleep apnea... even though I didn't go in for that at all. Finally, this genius prescribes me face mask for my CPAP that goes over my nose. Well since my problem is chronic inflammation in my nose, it doesn't work and I am stuck not sleep. Nice guy but a complete moron.

I took my son in few weeks ago and he was excellent and so was his staff. He took the time to care and answer my questions. That is what all real MDS should do for the parents sake and our children.

Our son is a special needs child who sees several specialists at Akron Childrens Hospital. He has documented disabilities and at the age of 2 had his tonsils and adenoids removed by a different ENT. We decided to switch to Dr. Masin because our sons other doctors are at Akron Childrens Hospital. We saw Dr. Masin once and used his suggestions and saw our son's condition improve during the summer. In winter we were seeing a change for the worse in his condition, he coughs constantly and is always stuffed up. We took him to see Dr. Masin and he had the nerve to say to us that he thinks he sees a pattern here suggesting that we wanted our son to be on more medicine for us to gain attention. If he had bothered to check with the other doctors, they would have told him that we only take our child to the doctors when we have a legitimate concern. So far we have not been able to find anything that helps with his chronic cough or stuffiness. However, we will not be returning to Dr. Masin. He was… rude and disrespectful to us when all we were trying to do was help our son to feel better.
