I came to him looking for help he didnt help at he suggested Pt for scoliosis I did I called back to explain it didnt work caused more pain and guess what he blew me off with no return phone calls for 2 months. Oh his assistant was a great help to. I found my help else where I had to have a spinal fusion done from the neck down all the way down to the tailbone apparently he was just to incompetent to perform the surgery. I look at this as a blessing he might have screwed up anyways I will never suggest this man to anyone. He might to tell you to smoke pot and do yoga who knowes with this man ????? Go somewhere else save your money that he steals from you.

After 40 years of back issues, 30+ epidural injections, countless hours of physical therapy and pill after pill I was at my wits end from the constant pain and struggle. I found Dr. McConnell and after reviewing my case he came up with a plan to help me. 8 months ago I could not walk without using a walker and today I go for unassisted walks by myself, standing straight and tall. It hasn't been easy but I have to say he's the absolute best!!!

Excellent Surgeon, great bedside manner, and a top notch staff at OAA as well. Would highly recommend to anyone having severe back pain.

I recommend Dr McConnell to everyone I meet with back issues - and they seem to be everywhere. My experience with him and his team was everything I could have hoped for. They were quick , efficient and ultimatly effective... what a relief! I recieved a micro-discectomy from Dr. McConnell and as soon as anesthesia wore off it was obvious that there was a great improvement. It has been about 9 months since the operation and my back feels stronger than it has for many years.

Had one month of pain relief after surgery.Totally botched surgery then avoided my complaints for six months.Finally gave me a diagnosis and remedy that I did not agree with. Sought second opinion from a nationally recognized spinal surgeon who corrected McConnells' surgery. Would most definately NOT recommend him to anyone for spinal surgery.
