Dr. Jeffrey Alvin Medlock, MD

Please don’t take your kids here. Dr. Medlock is really out of touch. I think he means well, but is just really misguided. He told us that trans people don’t exist, by coming in with a clown nose trying to make my 14 year old laugh…and then saying that if he painted a goat and glued a horn to its head, it still wouldn’t be a unicorn, not once but THREE times we were told that nonsense when we were really there just to get my kids meds refilled :/

This doctor sells his training in the emergency room and icu. His training is lacking in the exam room. He does not order the medication that he says he has ordered. It is sent to the wrong drug store. Prescriptions are sent in the wrong amount. It takes several trips into his office to fix the problem.

There should be more Doctor's like Dr. Medlock. I have never had or met a doctor that actually treated you like a human and never looks down upon you. Dr. Medlock started with my mom as a patient and I kinda was taken under his wing as a patient. I continued and will never even think about going to another Doctor as long as he is around.

They are real nice at the office and Dr. Medlock. However, after my part of $300 we still don't know anything. I had to call 5 weeks later to get results. When Dr. calls you back he is all yours. I thinks some things needs to change for a 5 star rating. He could be 5 star really easy.

Dr Medlock takes the time to listen asks thoughtful questions. even listens to the children and answers their questions as if they were adults in simple terms but doesnt "dumb" his explanation down.

Probably the most caring Dr. we've ever been to, but sometimes would be too hurried and would admit to Hospital when at home care might have been better. Just our opinion.
