Dr. Jeffrey S Metzger has been our family doctor for about 25 years. He is extremely patient, kind and thorough having treated us for a variety of illnesses over the years!

Dr. Metzger is a wonderful internist who I have been seeing at least once a year for the past fifteen years. He is knowledgeable, caring, direct yet tactful. He spends the time need with each patient, so go early in the day to avoid the backlog.

I cannot image a more caring human being than Dr. Metzger. That's one reason that sometimes you have to wait. He makes every effort to give patients the time they require. He is thorough and conservative in his approach. He genuinely seems to care for his patients, and I personally know many of them (among them my husband).

While the organization at Danbury Medical Group can be chaotic at times, Dr. Metzger is one of the true gems of this large practice. We followed him to Danbury from his previous practice in Ridgefield. Dr. Metzger's greatest diagnostic skill lies in listening to his patients, then being willing to consider many possibilities for medical causes. His wit and ease makes visits something I actually look forward to. Too bed he can't be cloned for the rest of the practice.
