the staff at dr metzmakers is great the doctor is a great he listens to your concerns he check in once a day are very appreciated and if you have a concern, Karin is right there for you with an answer

The all around experience in my first surgery was great. It was my first major surgery in my life and I did not know what to expect. Dr. Metzmaker and his surgical staff did everything to keep me comfortable. However, I did not agree with the discharge procedure so quickly, that was awful. I was surprisingly sent home with a catheter for a week and many professionals inside of Umass as well as outside of the hospital were very surprised that happened. That needs to change on my upcoming hip surgery. Patients need more time to recover under proper care and not just pushed out the door. I felt so alone and rushed out on my discharge date as someone just left me in a wheelchair by the door. In all, surgery went well, and my body is feeling great as I await surgery #2. Thank you to Dr. Metzmaker and his staff.

Dr Metzmaker is an excellent surgeon. Very caring and compassionate. He has performed surgery on some family members. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Metzmaker and his entire team made this ( 1st surgery @ 64 years old) a great experience! Great communication thru out the process. Questions answered promptly!

This office is a true team approach. The attention, availability for questions and continuous training/information both before and after the procedure has been beneficial and comforting. Everyone has been friendly and helpful.
