Dr. Jeffrey Duncan Morrison, MD

Today I'm writing this review as a mother and as a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience. My daughter, a military spouse who was new to the east coast and a first-time mom was seen at TPMG for prenatal care. Unfortunately, her pregnancy did not progress a planned. If this was not bad enough, my daughter had to endure a staff who lacked empathy and tact. My daughter heard some staff members mocking her and making a joke about a very serious situation. My daughter's heart was not only breaking for her loss but she felt belittled and embarrassed. Dr. Morrison performed a D&C. Since the D&C my daughter was having horrible abdominal pain and ongoing spotting. Due to the lack of concern, my daughter reached out to her primary doctor for help. After 2 months of dealing with this, she had a CT scan and ultrasound both concluded that most likely there were retained products of conception. Her primary doctor contacted Dr. Morrison and scheduled my daughter a follow-up appointment… with him. On the day of her follow-up appointment, the front desk asks why are you even here, you're not pregnant! Dr. Morrison's first words were, I'm not really sure why you are here and your insurance probably won't pay for this visit. My daughter started crying and tried to explain the situation and Dr. Morrison. He did not look at her paperwork and basically dismissed her. A few days later, she ended up in the ER because she had severe abdominal pain until she finally passed the remaining tissue that was left behind. My daughter didn't deserve this type of treatment, nor does anyone else! Please seek your OB care elsewhere!

Terrible. I Have and infection and I went to see this doctor and the Doctor told me the first day I went there I was fine. I have been for 3 weeks with the same infection....I called them and I told them I was still sick,,,they make a test 3 days later and THEY FINALLY got the infection in the result. HOWEVER the nurse called me and asked me If I was still feeling bad AND I TOLD HER I WAS GETTING WORST. She was going to contact the Doctor BY TEXT. That was Tuesday. TODAY is Friday and they are closed AND THEY DID NOT CALL ME BACK. I feel they don't care my health. IT IS AN INFECTION and that could be getting really bad.... I DONT RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO GO to this place

Great doctor, makes you feel as ease. He was a recommendation from a friend and I love him and his staff! Super friendly!

I had a pleasure of meeting dr.morrison. I have always seen woman doctors. So naturally being old I was a little nervous. But his nurse Katie is wonderful. Katie spoke to me and I was in awe. She was sweet, genuine, intelligent, and very caring. I made up my mind before even meeting with dr.morrison. He came in and spoke to me. They both made me laugh so much. He is a very intelligent man. And these two together are a wonderful combination. I would highly recommend them to anyone. He was very prompt and straight forward. He made me feel very comfortable.

I just became a grandmother for the first time!!! Dr Morrison put my daughter at ease and made the experience a wonderful time! C-section was the way to go in this case and Dr Morrison did an excellent job! Thanks, Nana

I was initially sent to this dr. office to get my breast checked out. Due to limited time i wanted to spend away from work i decided to let this practice do my "annual" womans exam too. Upon the first meeting/conversation with Dr. Morrison, his satire was very inappropriate. He joked about a matter that was very serious and i was tempted to leave the office after the first remark. The conversation continued and he felt free enough to use a few curse words here and there. I went back a month later for my annual and i waited over an hr to be seen (after being brought back and naked in the office) after he told me he would step out for a minute for me to undress. I was the last one seen and the conversation that took place this time had quite a few "f-bombs". i was completely taken back (as i was not familiar with this dr at all) and just wanted to get off the table. IN the first visit he kept insisting that i allow him to put in an IUD when i already had an implant that I wanted to… renew. This on top of the cursing, horrible bedside manner, made me very nervous. I cannot tell how knowledgeable he is as a dr because i was distracted by all of these other things, but i could not recommend him to anyone

Dr. Morrison is by far the best doctor I have seen at this practice! He is laid back and takes time to listen and talk to me regarding any issues I have. The staff here leaves a lot to be desired but that I can handle. He will continue to be my doctor as long as he continues to practice medicine.

I have been seeing Dr. Morrison with all of my pregnancies over the years (approx. 10 years) I have been through a lot of difficulties with my pregnancies and I am glad to say that because of Dr. Morrison and the care for his patients I was able to give birth to my baby girl 5 years ago. Also during my pregnancy I also had to get a cerclag at 12 weeks, I was awake the entire time and after the procedure, never any pain or complications. He is the only one that I trust with any of my care during pregnancy! Also he has always made sure that when I am scheduled for any appointments that he is present to over see all of my care from start to finish. This is so reassuring to someone for sure that has had a extremely hard time with caring out pregnancies. He is the greatest and also made sure to be there for the entire delivery of my baby girl! I highly recommend him to anyone that is seeking medical care. You have to see things for yourself first hand before you judge someone… else's remarks, js

I had such a difficult time with this doctor's office. The Midwife is FANTASTIC, but everyone else is just so so. They can't schedule your appointment at a time that's convenient for you, just for them. So if you can't do an 8:30am appointment, you have to call back several times to try to catch that time slot because they can ONLY make appointments for ultrasounds in the order that they are made. Meaning if you call first, you get the 8:30, and the next person gets a 9:00. It's ridiculous. I obviously can't make those appointments, and I have to fight tooth and nail with them to get them to give me a time slot I can go to. It shouldn't be that difficult if I am paying YOU to provide me a service there is no reason my needs can not be met. After that crazy annoyance, I received a phone call that I needed to call the office back about my appointment (tomorrow) and they left me a phone number. I call back, and the woman was so rude. She told me that "it was PROBABLY a reminder… call" . . . well thanks. I hope you didn't need me to bring anything else to this appointment because your receptionist is such an idiot. On top of all of that, every time I've gone in for an appointment besides Friday afternoon they make me wait several hours. I have gone in for a 3pm appointment before to check my heart rate and my baby's heart rate (and that was it) and didn't get out until 6pm. It's ridiculous. In closing: Don't waste your time. Pick ANYPLACE but here. The midwife is fantastic, and she gives this review an extra star, but everyone else is just mediocre. The receptionists are terrible, the wait time is obnoxious, and it's just not worth it. Not worth it at all.

To some, sarcasm is a great tool to use. However, in time of questions and concerns, it is simply NOT needed. Making light of a concern with smirks and sharp remarks is very inaproriate and made me feel very uncomfortable. I will not be going back.
