Dr. Jeffrey Kyle Mullins, MD

Let me start with quotes I have received by a nurse and a nurse practitioner in this office.After asking for an appointment with the doctor to follow up on issues I was having after surgery and finding out that when I had my visit it was a nurse visit only, the nurse stated "If this doesn't work for you then you can go to the emergency room."After months of waiting on specific paperwork from this office, and receiving a commitment to get me this directly from Dr. Mullins the week before, this nurse practitioner states  "We are doing you a favor. You are going to be on the doctor's timeline. If that is not good enough, I guess you won't be getting it." Then proceeds to treat me like a child by telling me she wasn't going to get my paperwork because I didn't agree with the situation and she was going to hang up.These office staff and nurses live up to the multitude of negative reviews out there. They don't answer the phone. They don't return calls. Many times their voice mails are full.… Let's compound that by their blatant rudeness and lack of concern. The inmates are truly running the asylum at this office. I specifically chose Dr. Mullins for a specific surgery that only he offered in the Chattanooga area over other doctors outside the area. Though I don't regret the doctor, the office staff and nurses are the worst I have ever dealt with in my life. If you're looking for good communication or a smooth process, look elsewhere. Only two good people there are the lady at the front desk who you will only see on a visit. Very social and friendly. The other is a nurse named Latisha. She seems to show concern. The rest are horrible.

Had a very agressive prostate cancer.Dr mullins told me of his plan of action.Dr mullins performed radical robitic surgery .I have not had any problems at all.I haven't had any problems with incontinence .I was very pleased with the surgery. Couldn't be happier.

Since my prostrate surgery I have had no control of my bowels or urine. I have had severe epididymitis with a lot of pain. Every time I make an appointment with him he says I will see you in 3 months and this has been going on for over 2 years. Finally I have just stopped seeing him.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Mullins. He is knowledgeable, kind and attentive. He listens and takes time to be sure that the patient not only understands procedures, but also options. He is willing to take the patient's own suggestions if they are indeed medically valid, which is a plus in ANY physician, in my opinion as a former nurse. His credentials are stellar, his skill, in my opinion, is unmatched. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars.

Dr. Mullins is an excellent surgeon and has a wonderful bedside manner. He is honest and was accurate in his prognosis. His thorough follow through was amazing. His after surgery guidelines were accurate. I would recommend anyone that has a prostate or urology issue to seek him out.

Saw Dr. mullins twice, and he never even touched me. Now that I have moved to a new city, his office refuses for fax or email my records, and even refused to give them to me when I offered to drive in from out of town to pick the up. Ver poor!

After using another urologist for several years, I felt, after my last appt with him, I needed to move on. Too many red flags!! I found Dr. Mullins online while searching for a knowledgeable, caring professional. He listened and took time to explain my possible problem. I am now facing a procedure in a couple of days that probably would have been overlooked by my first urologist. Hoping this takes care of my ongoing issues.

This was my first experience with Dr.Mullins. I was a long time patient of his predecessor, Dr. Currin. He was an excellent Urologist. With his retirement, I believe there could not be a better replacement than Dr. Mullins. I was rushed to the hospital. Dr. Mullins responded immediately. He quickly familiarized with my case, came to me with a most appropriate bedside manner. He's very articulate in his knowledge of Urology. During our consultation, he quickly had answers to all of my concerns. He offered me choices on the courses of actions in regards to my condition. I, without a doubt, know that I made the right decision with his help. And, even though I am still recovering, I have every confidence in this fine young doctor, that he will bring me to complete recovery without incident. His practice has earned him no less than hero status and I highly recommend him.

I met Dr. Mullins about a month ago when I was in the hospital. I entered the hospital for another reason, but ended up being diagnosed with a kidney stone in the process. Dr. Mullins was assigned to my case and went out of his way to reassure me and push me through to surgery. His follow up care has been wonderful and his bed side manner is excellent!
