Dr. Jeffrey R Nelson, DO

We had a great experience working with Dr. Nelson. He saw us at every single appointment and always personally did my ultrasounds and exams. He is gentle, calm and empathetic and we trusted him fully. I recommend Dr. Nelson and HRC to everyone I know who might need to go down the path of fertility treatments, and if we decide to have more children, we'd definitely return to him.

My wife and I met Dr. Nelson at a fertility seminar in Pasadena and were impressed with his demeaner and knowledge of the IVF process. We decided to move forward with the procedure after many years of trying and not having success getting pregnant. Our first round unfortunately didn't take at the final stage of implantation, but it's not uncommon for this to happen and we know Dr. Nelson tried everything he could to make it work. We took a break and then came back for a second round which was successful and we now have a lovely baby boy! It can be a very difficulty process without a helpful doctor and team, so we are very grateful for his and Justina's care, knowledge and compassion. We highly recommend him and the HRC staff.

I name Dr. Nelson the "God of Fertility" because despite my low probability of "success", he made it happen! I am 44.5 years old and my eggs were retrieved when I was 43 yrs old. The chances of success for someone my age are minuscule, only 5%. I am now 17 weeks pregnant and all is going well. Dr. Nelson was especially careful and very detailed throughout the entire process. I appreciate that he performed a dummy embryo transfer before the "big day". I also appreciate that he takes the time to answer my questions following every ultrasound. He is friendly, thorough and highly competent. I still have a few frozen embryos and plan to return to him for future treatments. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Nelson! His nurses/staff were friendly and very helpful.

Provides tailored well thought out care for your specific needs and spends as much time as needed to answer all of your questions. Very personable and professional staff with a lot of compassion. We think of them as friends and actually miss them when we don't see them! :) We are now expecting a baby and are just thrilled! Feel blessed to have Dr. Nelson and his nurses Addiline and Germaine on our team to making our dreams come true. Look forward to working with them again on baby number two someday! :)

I can can recommend him to anyone that is experiencing problems getting pregnant. He is very caring, calm and experienced. His team is also great you have the same people taking care of you and it is easy to contact if you have questions.
