Dr. Jeffrey Lynn Newman, MD

The GOAT, for the older ones, that means greatest of all time. I have been with this office since 2011, this office is more than a DR office, these people care. I have always felt like family there, like I was loved from front desk to nursing. Newman is more than a physician. He truly understands along with his incredible PAC Erin, that medical care is way more than a diagnosis, its a physical and mental body, youre more than your pains and were all just humans trying to figure out life. I will choose an office any day that I know i can run to wether my issues are physical or mental and know im going to be HEARD. Ill tell you being heard can be so mentally FREEING and not being heard can KEEP you ill. thank you ALL FOREVER. ?????? - Sarah Reese Martinez

Dr Newman, Erin and staff are great. Get you in right away in any day of the week accept Sunday's. Dr Newman takes his time with you and doesn’t rush. Other doctors spend 2 min with you. Try calling other offices. Takes 2 months to get a appointment. I have never had a issue getting in the same day. I have always had a great experience with this office. If you have a issue , let the office manager know. They will take care of the issue right away.

Dr. Newman has saved my life on three occasions during the past twenty three years. He is a caring physician, with wide experience. I am very grateful for his continued practice during these hectic times, when I read that many physicians are leaving their practices due to the threat of "free treatment for all"promoted by the seven-hundred or so Democratic candidates for the 2020 Presidency.

Attentive, caring, excellent doctor that has cared for my Mother for 10 years. I recommend him for anyone needing specialty care for serious issues!

I was excited to get a same day appointment, but then upon arrival quickly realized why. The waiting area had obvious "users" in there to put it politely. Trash tv was on, something similar to Jerry Springer. The front desk staff was unorganized and loud. I quickly realized this was a 1 stop shop for botox and suboxone. Dr. Newman was completely unprofessional. Told me to not to have sex at night because I had difficulty sleeping. Which is NOT why I can't sleep, and may have to do with trauma and night terrors. But fine moving along.... he then for whatever reason told me my ovaries were shriveling up and dying. I am a healthy 27yo who didn't even have a women's health appointment with him. I went there specifically for my acne. Which he totally disregarded. He wrote me a couple of rx's that I have already done before and didnt even write everything he said he would. He acted like it was nothing. He seemed more preoccupied with my throat and tonsils that at the time were not… even bothering me. I brought it up to let him know that it was an issue that comes and goes. On my way out I was stopped by a front desk lady who said I had a copay. I never have copays. I explained this to her and she kept interrupting me and said, "TRICARE always has copays here, you need to be seen on base if you don't want a copay." I explained that there wasn't any availability on base and I got bumped to out in town. Therefore, I didn't choose to be here, and that everything should be covered by my insurance. So instead of her calling the insurance company to verify (my phone was dead) she acts like I'm a JO, so to avoid going back and forth I pay it. When I arrived home I call TRICARE and they shouldn't have charged me. I get refunded and said Id get a receipt in the mail ( never did) but who knows how many other military families they are taking advantage of because they don't want to do their job right. This was my first and last time going there. Id also liked to add that while waiting to be seen another customer was leaving and was told she owed $15 or so dollars because she never went to her last appointment. The women said she never made an appointment for then, so how could she owe anything. The front desk lady said we made it for you and you should have received a reminder call, and since our system says we called and you didn't cancel you owe $15. So this office is making appointments for patients without the patient knowing and then charging them for not showing up to appointments they didn't even know about.

I have been to many Drs, I’m over 60 and recommend Dr. Newman- as he actually takes the time to listen to the patients. I always get in to see him quickly and appreciate his interest in my total health, not just what I came in for. I would say yes, go to Dr. Newman, as he actually cares. I give him 2 thumbs up. It’s hard to find a Dr that takes time with patients today. Never had a negative experience in 7 years.

Dr. Neuman is a great Dr. with a great personality. His back office staff is great including his PA's . I have never had anything but good things to say about him but his new front office staff is a total different story. His new front office staff is terrible, unprofessional and not friendly at all and bordering on being rude. I referred my mom and she waited one hour and was suppose to have seen Dr. Neuman but was referred to the PA. Her blood pressure was high because she was frustrated with the wait.

I like feeling like I'm a person when I pay for services from any organization and both Dr. Newman and his staff make you feel like you matter.

Never saw Dr. Newman so I can't really say anything about him and his staffs that handle refill (request refill by phone) are AWESOME, but he needs to give his other staffs some lessons: 1. DO NOT give a patient drink from a cup that says for urine. If they run out of cup for drinking, please find other appropriate cup or briefly explained the situation to the patient - an apology after "accidentally" giving a cup for urine for drinking water too would be appreciated. I couldn't drink from a cup many days after that incident. 2. DO give thoroughly explanation to patient after a procedure and cover/closed any wounds TIGHT. After a procedure, my wound was not properly closed. I was bleeding hard and had to call 911. I called the office the next day to explain what happened but my calls were never picked up so I left a message. They never called back. The only thing I got from them is a follow up appointment notification a week later. I was too upset I didn't show up and they billed me… for missing appointment. They granted my wish to not be charged for the missing appointment but never addressed my complain. I don't know if I will go back there... Dr. Newman, a short hello or brief introduction to your EVERY patient would be nice. At least I know which one is you and if anything, I could ask or talk to you directly.

He has been my DR for many years. I will never see anyone else. He is nothing less than perfection!
