Dr. Jeffrey Patrick Ng, MD

I’ve never been confident of living in Las Vegas until now as I know I’m getting optimal high quality health care with strong support system. Gone are my fears of crowded urgent care and emergency room. Most of my doctors are at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles. But needed a doctor when I get sick while I’m in my home in Las Vegas. Dr. NG is an amazing doctor with equally nice and knowledgeable office staff. Dr, Ng is very knowledgeable and excellent clinician that cares so much about his patients. It’s all about personalized service!

I usually don't comment about doctors and find it annoying that when people write about doctors, it's usually the negative comments that people focus on. Well, for those who need to read and find a positive review (without the terrible spelling errors), here it is. Dr. Ng is a very popular doctor BECAUSE he is good and genuinely cares about health. It's true that as my PCP, he only has a limited amount of time to figure out 69 years worth of my mom's medical history in 14 minutes, but his 16 years in Vegas and 25 years as a board certified physician in Family Medicine really becomes apparent. Perhaps the most important thing you need to know: if you ask other Patient's and Medical Specialists who is a good doctor and has a good work ethic and determination to help you figure out your medical problems, his name is often mentioned. I don't expect my PCP to know everything, but I do expect him to run the basic labs, and NOT RUN UP MY MEDICAL BILLS to make himself a profit under… my expense and time. My mom had some abnormal labs and he quickly notified her and started her on the therapy immediately. When she needed a good specialist, he knew most of them and if he didn't know a good one, he actually admitted it and searched the network to help her find one. When I observed this first hand, I switched from my PCP to his practice. So before you judge a book by its cover, consider this: ask yourself why is he so booked and when you see him, he always asked: "Is there anything else you need? " He answers my questions and sometimes calls the specialists on the phone during the visit! Shame on ranters that wanna step on the little guys! Do people know that there are so FEW PCP available in Vegas???? PCP's are in the front line and are the LOWEST PAID specialty and in Vegas. For my medicare mother, YOU CAN'T FIND GOOD PCP's that take NEW patients!!!! . So before we start ranting on our PCP's, better think first before you write. I'm happy with him and so are ALL my family and MY COWORKERS. Keep up the hard work and long hours Dr. Ng and DON'T let any bad review bother you.....If anything, it keeps from expanding your personal practice and gives us selfishly more time with you..... And kudos to your staff Donna and Micheal. They always work around my busy schedule in these COVID pandemic times and do their best to help me and my co-workers get appointments whenever I call, which is another important quality in a PCP: Access. If you can't see you PCP in a timely manner, what good is he??? So Thank you Dr. Ng for staying in Vegas and helping our community.

Dr. Ng is back in Summerlin: Suite 306. But he is only there 3 days/week: (Mon/Thurs/Fri). Same great staff: Donna and Micheal. He travels back to Henderson to see patients on Tues/Weds. Hopefully he keeps this schedule. Good doctor. First thing he does is reviews your history. He focuses on weight, exercise, and doesn't order a bunch of unnecessary tests. The New Office in Summerlin is nice. New car smell. He keeps records electronically so you don't need to bring paper. His approach is still the same: Blunt, to the point. Very good bedside manner. He is detailed.

I really appreciate Dr. Ng's caring and matter-of-fact approach with me. I find him to be insightful and intuitive with successfully treating each of the handful of reasons I have had to visit him. If he ever becomes out of network for me and my family, we will continue to keep him as our family physician.

Dr. Ng has provided excellent care over the course of the past year. I only began seeing him in February 2017 but have had multiple visits. I can say with surety, Dr. Ng has consistently given me the time I need to answer my many questions and go over my medical care needs. Phenomenal doctor and a rare find, particularly in the Vegas area!

I've seen Dr. Ng since January 2017! I find him straight forward, to the point and upfront!! He is very caring and he sends you to very good specialists. I find him refreshing and he has given me hope! He does not baby you, we work as a TEAM! He directs and I do my part! I would recommend him!

Dr. Ng is a good, what I would call, an old-time doctor. You know, the ones that use to care! Well, he still does and he won't rest until he has you completely taken care of and you are on the path to a better life -- if that is possible. He is an excellent caregiver and I won't ever change doctors again!

I was a patent of Dr. Ng many years ago before moving out of state. Dr. Ng is the best doctor in the country. When I move back to the Las Vegas, I will be going to him only.

Dr. Ng strikes the perfect balance of showing that he genuinely cares for his patients and goes beyond the cursory or superficial by asking appropriate and detailed questions on life habits that can affect your overall health while he can easily take a no-nonsense approach when advising you on how to improve and maintain your health
