Dr. Jeffrey Michael Parker, DO

Dr. Parker is an arrogant, belligerent, politically biased, and borderline incompetent doctor. He has no patience for your questions and will completely disregard your opinion. He has neither the aptitude or temperament to be a medical professional. My mother had hip surgery and was due to be released. I talked with Dr. Parker and brought up the possibility of bringing my mother home for rehabilitative care instead of a rehabilitation facility because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Dr. Parker became angry and dismissive and said to me, "Your one of those people" and "You are just listening to the media." He even threatened, "I will discharge your mother today, and you can come and pick her up." This phone conversation ended with Dr. Parker hanging up on me. Later that day, I found out that my mother needed another transfusion and should not and would not be released. Dr. Parker was unaware of my mother's current medical condition and did not know she wouldn't be released that day, which… made this whole conversation unnecessary.

Dr. Parker was was my husbands doctor during his recent visit to Mercy Hospital. He explained my husband's treatments and his condition in an extremely compassionate way. Very knowledgeable and now a very good friend. I give him 5 stars !
