Dr. Jeffrey Freeman Penney, MD

He is one of the best psychiatrists I have seen for prescribing antidepressants and dealing with addiction. He had some cutting edge knowledge of newer exotic research that I was not expecting to find in a small town. He does excellent counseling about non-drug approaches and lifestyle factors, just enough to keep on the right track without distracting from his primary mission of getting the right drugs. His personality is geeky, super-friendly and compassionate. He genuinely seems motivated by and excited about helping people heal psychological issues.

I would definitely choose to see Dr. Penney again. He is quick & accurate. Most importantly he is compassionate about helping people & always has something encouraging to say :)

Have been going for over a yr. talk for a bit, I cry...I'm a mess or I'm better? Don't dr.'s do brain scans anymore...or follow up on a patients medical well being to rule anything out before dishing out pills?? Have never gotten a call. Ever. Not sure where to go from here. Did have some medical issues I worked out on my own. He knows, nothing changed. Idk
