Dr. Jeffrey Alan Perlmutter, MD

Uncaring, condescending, and rude.

Dr. Perlmutter saved my life 15 years ago. He has been consistently caring, supportive, and challenged me to step up self care. I cannot recommend him enough.

The team front office team at this office are fantastic and part of the reason I decided to go with this doctor. They are comforting and kind for someone going through a rough diagnosis. I had a hard time with three other offices in this area. Dr Perlmutter is direct and to the point. Some may confuse this with being rude but I find it refreshing and needed. In my experiences with him he always follows up with me answers all of my questions, even before I had officially become one of his patients. Again, for someone wanting hand holding he may not be the best fit for you. However if you want a knowledgeable doctor you can trust to know the details and tell you the honest truth, then he may be a better fit.

He joked about my mother's health as she was fighting for her life with another doctor. He did not notice me in the corner of the room. My mother passed away. I still can't get his insensitive comment out of my mind.

This Doctor could be one of the best Nephrologists. However, the medical board should not let him cares for patient if he has no patience and mostly rude.
