Dr. Jeffrey D Quinn, MD

My experience with Dr. Jeffrey Quinn is from a different perspective. I watched him single-handed save a complete strangers life. I still believe he is one of the greatest OB-GYN's practicing. He has probably never given it a second thought and just humbly chalked it up to "all in a days work". Twenty plus years ago, I worked with him as an RN on a women's center. I was assigned a patient that delivered her healthy baby 24 hours earlier, no complications and was planning on discharging that morning. I went into her room to assess her and help with the discharge. My patient was lying on her bed in a huge pool of blood. She said she felt "lightheaded" and needed to lie down. After quickly assessing the postpartum bleed and realizing normal procedures were not going to stop this, I RAN to labor and delivery looking for her OB who had been there earlier but was no where to be found. On my way back I saw Jeff charting at the desk. He looked up happy to help. I quickly explained the… situation and the measures I had taken. We both ran down the hall to the patient's room. He immediately proceeded to remove clots from this woman that in total were the size of a soccer ball. There was more blood than I had ever seen in my life, even surgery. Within a few short minutes this Mom had a IV in, oxygen on, hemorrhage presently controlled and was headed to Labor and Delivery for a probable D&C. The following day she was transfused with a couple units. She was not even his patient or one of his partners. I still wonder what would have happened if this hemorrhage would have happened 3 or 4 hours later after she had gone home. I realize this experience sounds like a "Hollywood" paramedic soap opera, but it really happened. Thank you again, Dr. Quinn for coming to my rescue that day so long ago. I am sorry it took me so long to publicly thank you. Oh, another one of his great qualities are he never kisses up to his patients!!! If you are looking for someone skilled, genuine, cool under fire and pleasant to everyone all the time, Dr. Quinn is your man.

Worth the wait!!! Best Dr ever!!!

I've gone to Dr. Quinn for my last 4 pregnancies. Wow - what a huge relief from my first OB! He is so kind, and I love his bedside manner. You may have to wait to get into your appointment sometimes, but other times you're in and out in no time - it just depends on if he's busy delivering a baby or not. I would just ask the front desk when you get there if he's in a delivery and if he is just reschedule your appointment at that time - that's what I did a couple of times. But AWESOME doctor, would totally recommend!

We've had three appointments and had to wait over an hour for two of them. What is the purpose of an appointment when you have to wait that long. Once we waited over an hour then the PA said he got called to a C-section. Pure insanity...go to another OB who cares about keeping commitments.

You will have a wait to see him, but when it is your turn you will have all the time you need. He never will make you feel rushed.
