Dr. Jeffrey Norman Retig, MD

The fact that this doctor is still in practice is appalling. He's lazy, uncommunicative, and doesn't listen to his patients. He would rather throw medications at you ( for which he receives a healthy kickback from the pharmaceutical industry) than take the time to actually figure out the issue and then address it. Additionally, the front desk staff are some of the most unprofessional people I've ever encountered in a medical setting. They openly discuss patients in front of other patients in the waiting room. Avoid this practice at all costs.

Doesn't listen or read your paperwork before you get there.

Dr Retig is one of the best doctors ever. He is kind and caring and makes sure you leave his office feeling like everything will be just fine. He listens to you and is there whenever you need him. If you are looking for a fantastic doctor he is one to call.

I've had two colonoscopies with Dr. Retig and both times appreciated his promptness and thoughtful feedback. I was in and out within an hour each time. Staff with whom he works kind and patient. I've heard he's on the conservative side and I'm fine with that.
