Jeffrey J. Rosa was born and raised in Sacramento and went to El Camino High School, U.C. Santa Barbara and UOP Dental School in San Francisco. He continues to increase his dental knowledge by being a participating member of the local dental society's continuing education committee and is active in two different dental study clubs in the area.
Jeffrey has been very active in the dental community through his participation in organized dentistry starting when he was in dental school, as a Representative for the California Dental Association for UOP. He has served several terms on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento District Dental Society and their Foundation, Chairman for the New Dentist Committee for the CDA, Membership Committee for CDA and SDDS, Legislative Committee for CDA and SDDS, Chairman for SDDS Golf Committee, and on the Product Evaluation Committee for The Dentist Insurance Company (TDIC). He has been awarded the SDDS President's Award, CDA Chairman …award for the CND, Pierre Frauchard Student Scholar, and the Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society award at UOP.
In the Sacramento community, Jeffrey has been involved with the Rotary Club of Point West, Sutter Club, California Eagles Golf (coaching handicapped children), Tutoring underserved elementary school children (Thomas Edison School), Smiles for Kids Program (dental program for underserved children), American River Parkway volunteer, and chairing the Encina High School Dental Health Mentoring Program. Recently he was nominated for the 2009 People Helping People Award for Sacramento, for all of his outstanding work in the community.
Jeffrey has been married to his lovely wife, Tamara Rosa (Turco), for the past three years. They have a two year old son (Anthony), that has been the apple of their eyes. After seven years of practice he continues to stay on all the cutting edge technology and techniques to add in to his practice, and greatly enjoys practicing with his father and getting involved in the community as much as he can.
