Dr. Jeffrey Alan Rost, MD

Dr. Rost also joined Brevard Anesthesia Services, P.A. in 2001. He currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the group. He came to us from Central Brevard Anesthesiology in Rockledge. Prior to that, he worked with Alachua Anesthesiologists, Gainesville, FL. Dr. Rost obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo, Toledo, OH and his medical degree from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. He did his internship at Providence Hospital, Washington, D.C. and his anesthesia residency at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He also did a special rotation in cardiothoracic anesthesia at the Texas Heart Institute and then completed a one-year fellowship in obstetrical anesthesia at UF. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists and the International Anesthesia Research Society. Father of two teenage children, Dr. Rost enjoys playing all kinds of music (keyboards, guitar, bass), boating, water skiing and …snow skiing whenever he can. He is also a private pilot and loves to read.
