Dr. Jeffrey Alan Saal, MD

After 30 years, I have been quite impressed with Dr. Saal's dedication, knowledge and breadth of experience. He's led me through back, spine, shoulder, knee and arthritis issues and each time he had a plan for me that worked. I'm in great shape today because of his education in treating the whole person, couldn't be happier.

I saw Dr. Saal in my early 20’s many years ago and he changed my life. I recently returned to him for help as my back issues became unmanageable. He told me I had a cyst on my spine and then he drained it (I’ve been to 6 doctors since writing this review, brought the original MRI where he stated he saw the cyst and all 6 doctors did not see it. I called several times to get his notes and so did the other doctors, nothing came of it. Dr. Saal’s staff does not answer the phone, you have to leave a message). I was seeing Dr. Saal for almost a year during this time, he helped me but I was continuing to have ups and downs with my back pain. On my last visit I told him that both my legs were going numb and it was a bit scary. He just nodded and was writing something down. He then hands me a prescription for physical therapy once a week and starts to open the door. I said, “Wait, how is this going to help the numbness in my legs? I’m actually a little worried about driving home, I’ve never… felt this before.” He shrugged and said, “These things happen when you have a bad back.” He started walking out again and I said, “When do you want me to come back?” He shrugged and said, “I don’t know, you call me.” I trusted this man and in one appointment he shattered my world. It was like he didn’t care anymore. My biggest issue was that the numbness in the legs was a new issue and he didn’t even address it. That is malpractice - negligent medical treatment.

Dr. Saal is an excellent physician/physiatrist and I have seen him three times now over the past 10 years. His diagnosis is right on and his procedures are virtually painless yet effective with nerves compressed in my lower back.

Very professional , works well with physical therapists and eastern medicine in conjunction with cortisone injection

horrid experience. looked at me as a way to get money and not in actually caring man about wanting to make me better. misdiagnosed me and gave me injections in the wrong area...strongly dont advise going to see him
