Dr. Jeffrey S Sachs

     Dr. Sachs is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, The New Jersey Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society, and is past president of The Central New Jersey Dental Study Club.  He is also an attendee of The Jersey Shore University Medical Center lecture series, affiliated with the prestigious Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and The Monmouth Medical Center's Sam Elbaum Education Program.
     Dr. Sachs is committed to continuing education courses and the highest levels of technology available in dentistry.  Every year, Dr. Sachs has far exceeded the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry requirements for continuing education necessary for licensure renewal.
     Phyliss, our office manager and patient care coordinator, has been with my office since  1996.  With over 30 years of experience in the dental profession, Phyliss is extremely well versed on the complexities of dental …insurance and dental benefits.  Her warm and caring style, coupled with her managerial skills, are what help to keep our practice running smoothly placing our patients at ease.  Phyliss is a native to the area, living in nearby Matawan since she was 3 years old.  She enjoys sewing, knitting and baking in her spare time, and camping with her husband.
     Meryl, one of our dental hygienists, has been with the office since 1994.  She has been honing her expertise and gentle touch since she started cleaning teeth and promoting oral health in 1979.  Her wealth of experience and hygiene skills are unmatched, and are invaluable to contibuting to the oral and systemic health of my patients.  She takes particular pride in providing thorough oral hygiene instruction to all of my patients, both young and old, as part of her commitment to help my patients keep and maintain their oral health.
     Sonia, another of our dental hygienists, has been with the office since 2006.  I am fortunate to have someone as dedicated and caring to serve my patients.  She has been practicing since 1999, and when not working in my office, she treats children in a pediatric dentists office.  One of her greatest assets is her warm and compassionate attitutude towards children.  She truly enjoys her work.
     Christina, my dental assistant, has been with the practice since 1997.  With over 30 years of experience in the dental field, Chris takes great pride providing both professionalism and personal care to all of our patients.  Our patients are put at ease by her congenial attitude and warm compassion.  Chris was born and raised in Hazlet and resides in town with her husband and 3 sons.  When she is not working, Chris enjoys watching her boys play soccer and exercising at the gym.
