I am very honored to have the privilege to serve patients and their referring dental offices for the past 15 years in the North End and Eastside of Seattle. Our mission is to provide excellent endodontic care by combining state-of–the-art-technology with a warm and comfortable environment. I believe communication and relationships play the biggest role in our success. Exceeding our patient’s expectations through service has always been a part of our mission. Dr. Jeffrey Samyn received his dental education from the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry. He then went on to specialty training to earn his Certificate in Endodontics and Masters Degree from the University of Washington. He has dedicated his practice exclusively to specialty endodontic care since he founded Northshore Endodontics in 1994.
Dr. Samyn’s Masters research thesis has been published in the Journal of Endodontics and other international journals.
Dr. Samyn has received several awards throughout his scholastic career, including: The Table Clinic Presentation Award for research on composite dental materials, the Award of Merit for Outstanding Clinical Achievements in Comprehensive Patient Care, and the Acadamy of Dental Materials Award.
He is also a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society, which selects students from the top 5% of their graduating class.
He is an Affiliate Assistant Professor of the Department of Endodontics at the University of Washington School of Dentistry and teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
He is the Endodontic Advisor for Great Blue Heron Seminars of the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Samyn is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association and Seattle-King County Dental Society. He is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists and Washington State Association of Endodontists
Outside the office, Dr. Samyn enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. His other interests include church, music, kayaking and photography. He and his family have been actively involved with Homes of Hope to build homes for needy families in Ensenada Mexico.
