Dr. Jeffrey Alan Sawyer, MD

Dr Sawyer literally saved me, he listened to my concerns and had me in for surgery within weeks. After having Dr Rouse mess up a deviated septum procedure i have gone to several other ENT’s who would not listen to my problems and discarded it as sinus infection. Thank goodness i was referred to Dr Sawyer by a friend. Wish i had gone to him first. His bedside manners are above and beyond, very professional and knowledgeable about what he’s doing. The office staff are very helpful as well. Thanks again Dr Sawyer

Had deviated septum surgery 18 years ago. Still have problems for which I will be seeking out a new it ENT. In the meantime I requested my records from him, and they had errors and very routine information such as whether I had my tonsils out. In addition, he prescribed medication‘s that were contra indicated based on my personal history that caused reactions to the medications. I would not recommend him at all if you would like to have a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of your information.

Guy has a bad attitude. I had to walk out of appointment.

Had an excellent experience with Dr. Sawyer. He is very kind and caring, professional, experienced and very knowledgeable. Went there in pain, left with a smile! Would highly recommend him.

I don't understand why the person below is rating DR. Sawyer for FOOT SURGERY! He's an E.N.T. What is the talking about?

Dr. Sawyer did my first bunion surgery and it was fine. I went back to him for hammertoe surgery on my two smaller toes and it went fine. When I went back the third time to have my two middle hammertoes corrected it was with disastrous results. The toes swelled up horribly and did not heal. I went back to him for several follow up appointments, and waited between three to four hours , no exaggeration, to have him just shoot up my toes with steroids. I finally went to a different foot doctor because I could not wear a shoe on that foot. I saw the exrays. Dr. Sawyer had broken the bones in a serrated way inside my two toes and placed a piece of plastic, like a zip tie, in the toes. I had to have the toes opened up, that piece of plastic removed from each toe, and have the bones recut straight and not ragged. Needless to say, those toes are now way shorter than they should be and my foot looks deformed. His office staff is discourteous and you can expect to wait hours to see him. He also… did the same botched hammertoe operation to my friend, and she also had to have it redone. Mind you, there is at least nine months of painful rehab involved in the recovery. Steer clear of him!!!

Acts as if he is a professional ENT, yet when confronting him with a long term breathing issue, told me to not overreact and take cold medication. Saw me for no more than 2 minutes and wasted my time with his unconcerned and condescending tone. Saw another ENT shortly after and in the first two minutes they found that i in fact need two surgeries and is not a "common cold". Will never go back to Dr. Sawyer.

Dr Sawyer gave me drops and later I had an allergic reaction and had trouble breathing. I called the office and the staff was rude to me yelling at me stating they have never heard of such a thing and this couldn't be true. After being yelled at and called a liar I ended up in the emergency room. Discharged paperwork shows I was treated for allergic reaction and when I left I received a voicemail from the Dr himself calling me a liar and wanted me to reschedule with him and come in to his office to speak with him. He will be waiting the rest of his career for my call.

I was referred to Dr. Sawyer by my GP. After reading these reviews, I was skeptical and a little worried. I called the office and, 1) the receptionist was extremely nice and got me in quickly. 2) The ladies in the office were friendly and made me feel at ease. And 3) expecting the bomb to fall when I met Dr. Sawyer, I was pleasantly surprised. He was nice, he joked, he listened, he was patient and he talked to me...not just TOLD me what was going on. So, what's the difference here?? I would recommend him without any hesitation.

He may be knowledgeable but he is has an attitude, he's rude, and has no patience. I would never recommend him.
