My wife had surgery by Dr. Schwartz. He assured us that everything is going to be OK. Did not mentioned that the surgery is prone for horrible complications. She had a lot of bad complications and spent 3 weeks in the hospital. And when all of these happened, he simply relegate care to the residents. Residents( doctors-in-training) took care of her and he was simply never to be found. Nurses called him many times and he was not available. Chicago offers many choices, we wish we choose someone else.

I had an decending Aortic replacment and Aortic valve. I am only 43 years old and 3 weeks after I am feeling great and ready to go back to work. My incision is healing well its very thin scar and looks great after only a short time. The staff was excellent and Jeff was always willing to take the time to answer all my questions.

Dr. Schwartz performed my heart surgery in Nov. 2013. Both he and his staff provided me the calm assurance and clear explanations I needed to deal with the reality that I needed three bypasses, and how to recover and regain my active lifestyle. Dr. Schwartz provided the most supportive, personalized care I have ever received from a physician. He is a skilled surgeon and a compassionate physician -- an honor to his profession.

Dr Schwartz is the best doctor ever. My husband just had heart surgery and he was so professional and caring..We love how he did everything and we recommend him. He is the best!!!
