Dr. Jeffrey Stephen Shelby, MD

I had Dr Shelby in replacement of my old Doctor Who left the outpatient for less than a week my first appointment he wrote me a paper prescription that when I took into to pharmacies Rite Aid and Walgreens it was illegal then I was informed he wasn't hooked up to the e-script system yet so I had to wait two more days without my Suboxone the next appointment was 3 days later and he tried telling me I was lying about attending my outpatient when I never missed a day and cut me down two strips I was sick for 2 weeks because of him Worst Doctor Ever

I agree with most of the previous review which was only 2 weeks ago. He does not have "care" in his demeanor. The nurse actually gave me, a middle-adged woman "that's a girl". UUGHHH.Really poor treatment.

He was terrible. He interrupted me when I was trying to answer his questions or simply telling him my symptoms, (Dr: are you coughing? Me: Im very tight chested when I breathe deeply it makes me cough but no Im....Dr: ARE YOU COUGHING?) * just an example. He did this multiple times.He barely looked me over. Kept resting his head on the cabinets. Hardly even made eye contact. Basically treated me like I was a dumb girl who has a cold "or something". As I was leaving with his half assed Rx (that I probably won't fill because he barely looked at me let alone properly diagnosed me) I asked what if the Rx doesn't work? To which he responded "then we will turn you upside down and shake you"....moron. I don't know if that was an attempt at a joke but I didn't appreciate it. Don't treat me like a stupid child.He works at on-call by HVCC. I've been there before and had other Doctors who I liked well enough. If I have to go again and he is there I will wait a day or go somewhere else.
