Dr. Jeffrey T Shelton, MD

I saw Dr. Shelton in the inpatient psych ward at Middlesex hospital. He was the first psychiatrist I had seen since a bad experience with my first and only other time seeing a psychiatrist. He was incredibly kind and caring. I could tell he was actually empathetic and I felt immediately comfortable with him and I knew he would help me. It was my first time in the psych ward and I was so happy to have such a caring and kind psychiatrist there to make it feel a little less scary.

Medicinal cannabis saved my life. When Dr. Shelton prescribed pharmaceuticals that caused depression, I smoked herb to improve my mood. When he prescribed pharmaceuticals that impaired concentration, I smoked herb to concentrate. Medical necessity isn't "abuse". The myth of "ammotivational syndrome" is backwards. The medical necessity motivates its users. To this day, a prehistoric medicinal herb still prevents paranoia because it's still relaxing. Dr Shelton will misdiagnose anybody to shift the blane away from himself, and he prefers to prey upon easy targets. His targets are mellow, docile, and passive. Kindness is mistaken for weakness. Dr. Shelton is a bully. Every time prescribers refused to taper the pharmaceuticals, I was traumatized by involuntary admission to hospitals because of withdrawal symptoms. I finally tapered them myself, and I'm rising above the brutality inflicted upon me. I have a medicinal cannabis license now. Dr. Shelton is guilty of insurance fraud and… worse. The rationale for misdiagnosis is "insurance companies will have to be told they're paying for something". The Department of Public Health has been told about Dr. Shelton and he will hopefully be brought to justice very soon.

Goes above and beyond, listens, strong advocate for patients

I'm entitled to closure. Medical necessity isn't "abuse" and nobody needs a prescription for a prehistoric medicinal herb when all us is inherentlt medicinal. Reapeating a lie won't make it true. Nobody went "insane" from a relaxing medicinal herb that saves lives and there can't be a valid reason to hate medical necessity as if prehistoric medicine would require approval from irrational psychiatrists or anyone else. Anybody motivated isn't "lazy and apathetic" nor could the medical necessity possibly "impair concentration" or "cause brain damage" or et cetera.

Dr. Shelton has helped me conquer addiction. He listens, he cares.

I didn't expect any better from a drug pusher. Dr. Shelton will misdiagnose anybody. His patients are sent through the revolving door. Over and over, the bully forces his victims into the hospital just for kicks. Dr. Shelton is a sadist.

Dr. shelton .. is a highly dangerous psychiatrist . did not leave refills for valium at the pharmacy . i was without it 4 days !! very very serious ...

Dr Shelton's license should be revoked.
