Dr Silver, This is John Downes writing to you cause I did not know the best way to get ahold of you. I am asking if you could please send me home with this tube. I’ve passed my physical, I have no diet restriction and on MY LIFE I will not continue to take any form of substance whatsoever. I need to be with the family I have left since it’s now just my sister and I after my parents passed last year. I know how hard you guys worked to save me and I will not blow another chance at life. Please choose to trust me.

The smartest and most talented surgeon I’ve met. He spent tons of time with me and made me feel comfortable during my hospital stay. Thank you for saving my life!

Dr. Silver is outstanding. He was very patient and took his time explaining everything to my mom and myself. He has followed up with me several times and answering all my questions. He is very friendly and Compassion.

Many complications post surgery. I've never seen the doctor except for 1 minute pre surgery. He couldn't care less.

My experience with Dr Silver was so disappointing. On paper he seems like an excellent doctor. In person and speaking to him I could tell he was nothing exceptional but primarily an egotistical, old man with poor bedside manner. I was hospitalized and found him to be arrogant, rude and lacking of knowledge while acting as if he knew everything. I'm seeing a specialist now and can see the difference between quality care and an ego driven practice where this doctor needs to stroke his ego constantly. Every doctor at his practice out of Ressurection hospital has that same arrogance, including Dr.polito and others. I'm so happy I am no longer dealing with these people and their pathetic defects of character, and I've found incredible, knowledgeable, humble doctors who provide excellent care!
