Very good experience, helped me a lot

Around 12 years ago, I experienced kidney failure. Dr. Simerville ran all possible tests to explore all therapeutic options, yet at my stage, surgical removal proved to be the only option. I was terrified, yet Dr. Simerville went out of his way to take time and explain the situation and what I could expect from the operation. His post-op advice carries with me to this day a decade later, and I eat healthier and take much better care of myself after heeding his words. Dr. Simerville treats patients from all backgrounds respectfully and equally. A great physician that you are lucky to find. Really grateful for the life-saving surgery and care.

The office was kind and Dr. Simmerville seemed to be confident in what he was saying. The facility where the surgery was done was top notch and very compassionate. Unfortunately, I was put through a needless intrusive surgical proceedure that did not solve the problem. From then on, it all went down hill. The follow up call was rude, rushed and not done by the Dr. When I called with questions and issues around possible infection a few days later I did not get a call back from the Dr. or the nurse. I was told by the receptionist to seek advice from an urgent care facility. What I believed to be a cut and dry easy proceedure has turned into nothing more than taking my money, time off work, pain and worry with no solution to the original problem and no follow through.

dont trust, i have lost all my trust in this doctor. vague and sometime will not offer information about what the side effects are on the drugs or procedures that he suggest will help.
