Dr. Jeffrey Scott Singer

Jeffrey S. Singer, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Singer, a native of a "small town" in New York State, Brooklyn, has been serving the Hanover-Gettysburg, PA area since 1982. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Maryland at College Park in 1972 where he met his wife Sharon, a native of Baltimore. He earned his DDS degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C., in 1977. Dr. Singer graduated from the orthodontic residency program at Georgetown University School of Dentistry with a master's degree in 1979 and is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics since 1989. He has voluntarily re-certified with the American of Board of Orthodontics in 2006. He is an Invisalign certified provider and has special interest in second molar replacement therapy, facial esthetics, indirect bonding and state-of-the-art orthodontic techniques.
Dr. Singer is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, College of …Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Society of Orthodontists, the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists, and the Hanover-Gettysburg Dental Society.
He is twice past president of the Hanover-Gettysburg Dental Society and presently sits on the executive board of the Pennsylvania Society of Orthodontists. He serves as a mentor to young orthodontists starting their careers in orthodontics.
Dr. Singer is married to his wife of 34 years, Sharon, and has three children, Eric, Jon, and Kevin (the outfield). With long-time interest in baseball as a player, coach, and Commissioner of Youth Baseball, Dr. Singer has interest in making youth sports safe, enjoyable, and organized for children. He was instrumental in developing a Stallion League for teens ages 16-17 who otherwise would not be able to play organized baseball.
In his free time, he enjoys golfing and fishing, especially with his family and friends. He also enjoys lecturing to residents at various orthodontic training programs and enjoys meeting monthly with his orthodontic study group, which he has done for the past 25 years.
Dr. Singer is committed to providing the highest standard of care. His practice takes pride in using state-of-the-art techniques in a caring environment. "Caring orthodontics requiring excellence" has been the office motto and is his mission. After 32 years in orthodontics, he still has the same enthusiasm for the profession and practice as he did when he first started practice. He looks forward to his son, Dr. Jonathan Singer, joining him in practice in the late part of 2009.
