Jeffrey Slavich, PA was inspired to pursue a career in medicine after 9/11 when he saw firsthand how lives could change because of a medical condition and subsequent challenges. He wanted to contribute to the effort to provide lifestyle function-improving care. A mentor introduced Jeffrey to rheumatology, and it has become a field he loves because of the challenge of applying research to help improve the quality of people’s lives. Jeffrey was drawn to Southeastern Idaho by family. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and is a Professional Ski Instructors of America level III coach. He is also passionate about sailing and traveling for regattas. His family, dogs, and playing the trumpet keeps Jeffrey busy.
