Dr. Jeffrey Howard Spiegel, MD

In my experience, he was careless, uninformed, dishonest, and unethical. If you want a doctor that you can trust, look elsewhere.

I decided to do a neck-tite procedure with Dr. Spiegel, who was wonderful. During this process, his assistant, Eleanor Partee was my "spiritual, and psychological" companion through recovery, as much as she was the administrator of the procedure in terms of scheduling and arranging for medication. Having Elleanor there to answer my questions was so important to me, particularly in those first few days when waiting for swelling to subside, and you just need someone to talk you through. Ellen is like having your best friend at your doctor's office because she allays your fears, and let's you know what to expect. She is really an angel. Not only is she empathetic, but she's knowledgeable, efficient and everything you could want from a support person. Since I really hadn't done anything prior to meeting the Spiegel team, I didn't know what to expect, and having Elllen pre and post procedure, was a Godsend! Thank you Eleanor, for being you! Lip lift he preformed on me in 2020 left me with my mouth off center, uneven nostrils and horrible scaring

Nerve damage, I look like I had a stroke after this mans surgery

I had a lip lift by him 4 years ago. They tell everyone, "This is the best one we've done so far!" so don't believe it when they say that to you. I specifically asked him prior to the lip lift if it could cause chin strain. He said no. Yet, I now have both chin strain and now have a gummy smilie. I went back to him and he insulted me by saying prior to his work my upper lip was so long it was flapping all around. He gave me botox and said it would resolve the issue permanently. Well, it did not. I've since gone to another doctor who said he cut it too short and other than coming back for botox every 3 months, there's nothing that can be done. He told me he's seen other Spiegel patients who also had too much taken off.

I am a transgender female who went to Dr Jeffrey Spiegel to have a beautiful life altering and ultimately life saving surgery and I look at myself now and don’t even want to go out in public. My name is Alexis Hopkins, and I came to him all the way from Seattle WA to have facial feminization surgery. I am a transgender female and when he and I spoke he promised me that I would look young, beautiful and most importantly, like a woman. Well, none of that came to pass and I have sunken cheeks, loose skin all over me my neck and face, I look older than I did when I went in, I have lines all over and saggy droopy cheeks. I do NOT look young, beautiful or very feminine and in my honest opinion to ALL trans women, please find another surgeon to do your FFS surgery. People don’t realize how important this type of surgery is... and it has destroyed my life.

Dr. Spiegel took care of my teenage son when he fell and split his chin open. Dr. Spiegel was so gentle taking out the stitches and was genuinely concerned that my son did not end up with a scar. We could not be happier!

Staff is clueless and rude.

Don’t bother, seriously, don’t. Unless you want to throw your money away and get poor results or zero results and poor results.

Katie and Uema are wonderful, Dr Spiegel and his wife both worked on me I am so happy with my results. I would refer them in a heartbeat. They take the time to explain everything.
