I love Dr. Stearnes! He is so easy to talk to, laugh with, discuss medical topics with.. I feel 100 percent comfortable with him

I went to see Dr Stearnes for a 2nd opinion. I had reasons to doubt my regular OBs diagnosis and asked around for suggestions on a Dr to see. I originally was referred to another Dr in Dr Stearnes same bldg, but when she was booked I chose Dr Stearnes on faith, and I was so pleased I did. He made me feel so comfortable. He spent so much time with me and was very thorough in explaining everything and answering questions. He was so personable and kind and I left his office with my mind at ease. He seemed so intelligent and knowlegable but not intimidating in any way, he was very easy to talk to. He is exactly the kind of OB I had been looking for after being dissatisfied with my regular OB. Unfortunately due to my insurance carrier changing I can only see certain "preferred" medical providers and Dr Stearnes is NOT among those I can see, and I am so disappointed at that. If I was able to I would switch to him in a heartbeat. I would recommend Dr Stearnes to anyone, anytime.

I had to see Dr. Stearnes for an endometrial biopsy and he and Leah (his nurse) made what is really an uncomfortable, not fun experience, as pleasant as possible. I was referred to him by my regular doctor and I am so glad she sent me to him. So friendly, personable, took the time to explain everything he was doing, talked about my options and made me feel comfortable all around. I have recommended him to several of my female friends and will continue to do so. The wait time once I was in the exam room was a little long, but he squeezed me in at the last minute (I made the appointment that morning) so I am not complaining about that!! That tells me that he cares enough about his patients to spend whatever time is necessary with them instead of pushing them through as quickly as possible. Love this doctor and his staff!

I feel lucky to have found this doctor. He is very nice and caring and always makes sure all my questions are answered.

Dr. Stearns was the Dr. assigned to me for my first pregnancy. He was so supportive and always gave me great insight into my experience with honesty & sincerity. He delivered my son via c-section for which was also a good experience (minus having to have had the surgery due to the size of my son). Since my first was born I have moved away from the area and let's just say I miss and have been saddened by the true lack of quality of OB care since having left Nebraska. If anyone was looking for an excellent OB in the Omaha/Papillion/Bellevue area I would highly suggest him. Wish he could of delivered and cared for me through the other two pregnancies I had.
