Dr Stewart is a wonderful doctor

I have seen Dr Stewart for 3 different pregnancies- all with problems. My membranes ruptured early with our daughter- he managed to keep her safe and inside for another month and she was born without problems at 36 weeks. She came home with me from the hospital.#2 was a miscarriage- he helped us get through that with real compassion and caring.Our son arrived very, very early. We were actually in the Caribbean, and I became super preeclamptic at 22 weeks. The doctors there and the doctors they wanted us to transfer to at an Ivy League hospital wanted to abort him - with no options or hope. We were able to fly back to see Dr Stewart and he was able to stabilize us for several days- long enough to get the steroids and medications we both needed. He was born weighing less than a pound- and spent the next few months in the NICU...but I am glad to say he is now home, with no eye or feeding problems, no neurologic or developmental delays.He is the son we always wanted...and I thank the Lord… for leading us by faith along the path we were told had no hope. I came to see Dr Stewart after two other doctors told me my baby was horribly deformed and that we had no options and must abort him. When we couldn't do that to our child, we were made to feel stupid and ignorant for wanting to give our child a chance .Dr Stewart took the time to go over the ultrasound exams with us and showed us that the problems with him weren''t deadly, and connected us with the surgeons who could fix his problems after he was born. He arrived early, but he is now 4 years old and starting kindergarten next year.

i was referred to Dr. Stewart on my 4th pregnancy. i had miscarried all of my previous pregnancies. Dr. Stewart took care of my family and now i have a precious baby girl.he didn't speak in terms that were over our heads and was the first Dr. who included my husband in my care. he is amazing

Dr Stewart is the best! We were told that our baby had life threatening problems and would be born early and die. Dr Stewart saw us in his office, found out that the problems were not at all as bad as what they told us, and took over our care. I was put in the hospital and all my medicines were changed We spent 3 weeks before our son was born, and he is now home with us a healthy happy little boy. God bless you, Dr Stewart.
